Flippr: What Happened | Sandor

"The details are a bit painful to tell, but I owe you all the basics.

Someone hacked my Flippr gmail. They used that to get our Twitter, servers, domain, and everything transferred out of my name. They also dumped the database, however, a previous hack had left that with no useful IPs, so passwords were the only real concern. I doubt many people used a really strong, common password for Flippr.

I'm sorry that it happened. And it's going to take a long time for me to forgive myself about it. I'm gonna try my best. Flippr has been very, very stressful to me in real life lately, with bug reports and threats and so much else going on.

It's not coming back. I'm done trying to play nice in the cut-through world of CPPSes. So I'm returning the CP Wikia, a far nicer place, where I will post customs like I used to.
I have filed a claim to get my domain back. If I do, I will use it as a personal website for the EPF Missions that I will make (same ones Flippr was going to have, almost like a minigame site). Until then, wikia is the best way to contact me.

Please note that at this time, I have no control over the @FlipprCPPS Twitter, @FlipprDesigner Twitter, or http://flippr.pw. I will let you know if that changes. Wikia is the only veritable source for information. I also will no longer be using Skype or my Flippr email.
I hope you all enjoyed your all-too-brief time on Flippr. I wish it could keep going, but I think it was clear at this point that reviving it was not in my, nor the public's, best interest.

Once again, I sincerely apologize, but I am confident about my future projects. I'm not going to answer very detailed questions about how or who hacked us, because it's a very raw wound.
