Hello penguins! It's my favorite time of the year in Club Penguin. On October 24th, 2005 is when Club Penguin was first made by Lance and Lane, now known as Rocketsnail (or Rsnail), and Billybob with a little team called New Horizons Interactive. Today, Club Penguin turned 8 years old, and there is a party to celebrate!
Inside the Coffee Shop, it will show what looks like a Club Penguin Museum! Wow!
The Museum showcases the previous party hats, the quest for the Golden Puffle, Jackhammers through the ages, Save The Migrator Project, Festival Of Flight, the very first outfit, pop art, and the inflatable octopus.
There is also a photo booth. Click on the camera to get a free background!
The background is called This Old Town. It's name and it's look is just amazing.

There is also a 8th Anniversary Birthday Cake, a free 8 year rainbow-colored party hat, and the 2012-2013 yearbook.

Mouse over the birthday cake to get the "Celebration" stamp.
Click on the party hat to collect the item.

This day always means a lot to me and my penguin buddies. I took this picture a year from today ago.
And to that... I say this...
UPDATE: The Club Penguin Times Office has put the yearbook on the shelve. But it won't open... bug?
